The women and children of Bariga and Shomolu Communities benefitted when the LWI Team in partnership wiuth the Assemblies of God, brought free and qualitative healthcare to the doorsteps of the Community Members who turned up at the event venue. They were given freee basic health screening – bloodpressure, sugar, BMI, Stress level tests ,  malaria testing and where necessary other OTC screenings were administered. Along with this came free personalised health counselling, free medicines and where necessaryu, people were registered for the ‘easyhealth’ home healthcare package of LWI.

The children were dewormed and the women were educated and counselled on their gender related health issues and the need for basic cervical and breast screenings.

The turnout was very good and the people were very grateful to LWI and to the Assemblies of God Church.
