On Thursday, September 3rd 2015, LWI carried out its value additive Executive Health Enlightenment Scheme (EHES) for the staffers of Supreme Educational Foundation (SEF) at its branch at 23, Emmanuel Keshi Street Magodo GRA Phase 2 Lagos.
The aim of this programme is to enlighten the SEF Staffers about contemporary health issues and to increase their health literacy level importance of regular medical checkup and also to positively influence their health-seeking behaviour.
The programme started with a health empowerment lecture which was delivered pragmatically by Operations Manager Programmes and Strategic Business Unit (PSBU) LiveWell Initiative Mrs Ibukun Badejo. The scope of the lectures covered topics Basic Health Meters, The importance of Aspirin and the Healthy and Unhealthy foods. The lecture was very interactive and the participants asked questions on areas which they did not understand.
After the lecture, the participants were ushered to the LWI stand for their health screenings which consisted of Stress Level and Blood Pressure. The participants had Back and full body massage and were given non prescription medicines and Antioxidants by the LWI Pharmacists.
