LiveWell Initaitive LWI ( a member of the World Hepatitis Alliance), recently carried a Hepatitis Awareness programme for the staffers of FSDH Merchant Bank on the 16th of June 2016 at its corporate Headquarters in UAC House 1-5 Odunlami Street, CMS Lagos.

The programme started with a lecture titled “The Liver and the Workplace” delivered by Dr Femi Erinoso of the LWI Academy Faculty. The lecture enlightened participants on the importance of the Liver in the Body,how how Hepatitis (Inflammation of the Liver) is spread in the workplace, how it can be prevented.The lecture was very educative and informative and participants asked questions with no holds barred.

After the lecture the participants were screened for the Hepatitis B and C Virus and basic screenings like: Stress Test, Blood Pressure, Body Mass Index (BMI), Random Blood Glucose. The participants also got personalized health counselling and non-prescription medicines from the LWI Pharmacy.
