The International Women’s Day is celebrated all around the world on the 8th of March yearly. LiveWell Initiative marked this year’s event by carrying out a gender empowerment programme for the staffers of Airtel Nigeria at its corporate headquarters at Banana Island Ikoyi on Tuesday, March 10th 2015.

The programe started with a interactive lecture titled “Making it Happen through Enhanced Wellness and productivity”, which was delivered by LWI CEO Pharm (Mrs) Bisi Bright. The talk was about teaching the participants on how to optimally balance their roles as wives and mothers and their careers.

Thereafter, a Make-up and Zumba fitness session took place, which engaged the staffers in a fun and interesting atmosphere.

During the programme, the participants visited the LWI stand to get FREE health screenings and Counselling. Each participant went away with a ‘goodie bag’ containing antioxidants and nutritional supplements.

Handmade Ankara products and beads were exhibited by Bellafricana and Purple Strips respectively…
