The International Alliance of Patients Organization (IAPO) Patient Solidarity Day (PSD) is commemorated to honour patients and highlight the need for patients to be central in healthcare systems and able to take ownership of their healthcare.

On the 6th of December 2014 , LiveWell Initiative LWI marked IAPO PSD during the Lagos Sea Food Festival at the Bar Beach Victoria Island Lagos . The festival which was organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives aimed at exhibiting the vast array of seafood in the Lagos Waters.

Among the dignitaries present were The Governor of Lagos State Mr Babatunde Raji Fashola, Comissioner for Agriculture and Cooperatives Prince Gbolahan Lawal and Comissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources Engr Taookek Tijani.

LWI offered free health services such as: Stress Test Screening, Blood Pressure Screenings, personalized health counselling and dispensing of non-prescription medicines.
