Founded in 1919, Zonta International is a leading global organization of professionals empowering women worldwide through service and advocacy.

Livewell Initiative in collaboration with the Zonta International Club (Lagos Chapter) carried out a health outreachfor the inhabitants of Asejere Community in Makoko Yaba Lagos on the 9th of June 2012.

The LWI team was available to render services such as Blood Pressure Screenings, Random Blood Glucose Screenings and Body Mass Index (BMI) to over 300 participants. There was also personalized health counseling for the participants and free medicines dispensed by the LWI Pharmacists.

The Makoko Community Health Fair was s fruitful collaboration between Livewell Initiative and Zonta International Club of Lagos as the inhabitants of Asejere Community were grateful for the health intervention.
