Theme of the GHB2012:
The GHB2012 which is a cross-cutting event designed to promote commerce and industry within different segments of the health sector, shall bring together to a congruence point various sectors of the economy – the Banking sector, Telecoms sector, the Manufacturing Sector, Insurance sector, Healthcare practitioners and Specialists and the Health Maintenance Organizations, Health Insurance Companies, Pharmaceutical Industries, Food and Confectionery Industries, Government Organizations, Foundations and Intergovernmental Organisations.
The theme of the GHB is “Health & Wealth partnerships at the next level…”
The Event:
At least 80-100 prominent companies and conglomerates are expected to attend among which are Pfizer, GSK, UTC Group, Nestle, Stanbic IBTC, May & Baker, Airtel, The US Consulate and the diplomatic community as well as international collaborators and affiliates; with a total population of over 2,500 Technocrats expected to attend the 3-day programme. We anticipate that at least half of the attendees will be professionals from all walks of life.
The 3-day event, slated for 18th-20th April, 2012 at The Incubator, Victoria Island Lagos, shall have highly placed technocrats and panelists of diverse backgrounds discussing various exciting thematic topics. The daily sub-themes for the three days are as follows:
Day 1; April 18th 2012: Bankers’ Day – Robust Health vs Robust Finances; Face-Off.
Day 2: April 19th 2012: Manufacturers’ Day – Lean Manufacturing / Cost Cutting without Lean Products
Day 3: April 20th 2012: Telecomms/ICT Day – The role of mobile health (mhealth), eHealth and ICT in enhancing access to healthcare.
The health sector shall feature technocrats on each of the three days, and, the panelists shall be a cross-cutting and multi-sectoral combination of technocrats from all walks of life; to view healthcare from all realistic angles.
